Azerbaijan, Baku, 28 February/ Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / Algish Hasanoglu, chief-editor of Yeni Azerbaijan newspaper, was dismissed, a spokesman from Yeni Azerbaijan reported. According to the statement, the newspaper will publish the exact information about the staff changes.
Yeni Azerbaijan is the publishing department of the ruling Yeni Azerbaijan Party (YAP).
Hasanoglu had been the MP from 2000 to 2005, and chief editor of Yeni Azerbaijan newspaper for the last 11 years.
