Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 March / corr. Trend G. Jabiyev/ Representatives from political parties in the parliament of the Turkish North Cyprus Republic met with Azad Rahimov, the Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan, Ramil Hasanov, the Chairman of the Youth Organization of the Yeni Azerbaijan (New Azerbaijan) Party (YAP) said to Trend on 4 March.
The visit was initiated by YAP.
The delegation includes representatives from the ruling party of the North Cyprus Republic, the International Unanimity Party and Freedom and Reforms Party as well.
Hasanov said that the meeting with Azad Rahimov focused on cooperation in sport and youth. The training of Azerbaijani sportsmen in North Cyprus and invitations to sportsmen of North Cyprus to competitions in Azerbaijan were discussed during the meeting.
The delegation will meet with Ali Ahmadov, the Deputy Chairman of the ruling party on 5 March. The guests will also visit the Turkish North Cyprus Republic representation in Azerbaijan during the visit that will last till 7 March and they also will visit the Lankaran region of the country.
