Azerbaijan, Baku, 10 April / corr. Trend S. Agayeva/ The governments of Azerbaijan and Turkey will discuss the prospects of developing economic ties in Istanbul on 11 April. The talks will be held within the meeting of Azerbaijan-Turkey Inter-Government Commission on Economic Cooperation, said Zakir Hashimov, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkey on 10 April.
The meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Abid Sharifov, the vice-premier of Azerbaijan and Mustafa Yazichioglu, the state minister of Turkey, who is the chairmen of the Commission. The meeting will discuss cooperation in energy, trade and economy.
A protocol is expected to be signed on the results of the meeting which will indicate the prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in various areas of economy. At present, the draft document is being coordinated in Istanbul by experts from both countries.
