Azerbaijan and U.S. intend to strenghten cooperation in the joint military training, as well as to involve the land forces to this training, Safar Abiyev, defense minister of Azerbaijan stated, Interfaks reported.
The minister said that both parties have proposals in this regard which are being coordinated at the moment, Sinkhua reported.
According to Abiyev, the military traning is held with the U.S. very actively with the participation of air force and Navy forces.
The last training was held several months ago in the Caspian Sea. However, most of the training is held with Turkey. Azerbaijan and Turkey have repeteadly held joint training in the Azerbaijani territory.
