Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 June/corr Trend M. Aliyev/ Ukraine and Azerbaijan intend to establish joint Aircraft Centre for training of summer staff, press service of Ministry of Defense of Ukraine informed on 4 June.
Establishment of Aircraft centre was discussed during the visit of Yuri Yekhanurov, Minister of Defense of Ukraine to Azerbaijan.
"We reached an agreement and during the visit we discussed this issue with the Azerbaijani president one more time. But there are still a number of outstanding technical problems related establishment of the centre," noted Yuri Yekhanurov.
Yekhanurov supports the establishment of Ukraine-Azerbaijani commission on defense security and problems.
On 2 June Yekhanurov visited Azerbaijan. In May, Ukraine and Azerbaijan signed an agreement on friendship and strategic partnership.
