Polish Architects Services in Baku Characterize Friendly Relations between two Nations: Polish First Lady (video)

Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 June / corr Trend S.Agayeva / Maria Kaczynska , the First Lady of Poland, opened a memorial board on the house where Josef Goslavskiy, a Polish architect, (1865-1904) lived.

The Polish architect built 12 buildings in Baku, which are now regarded as the cultural and historical monuments of Azerbaijani capital. These are the building of former Baku City Duma (current Baku City Executive Power), Residential Palace of the Baku oil industrial, Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev (History Museum of Baku), building of the Russian-Muslim school for ladies named after Empress Alexandra (the Institute of Manuscripts of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan), Tagiyev's summer house in Mardakan, etc.

The services of Polish architect, who worked in Baku in last century, characterize the friendly relations between our nations, the First Lady said in the opening ceremony of the board.

Kaczynska arrived in Baku to participate in an international forum 'Women's Role in Intercultural Dialogue', held in Baku from 10-11 June.
