Heads of GUAM Delegations to PACE to Talk

Azerbaijan, Baku, 17 June / Trend corr I. Alizade/ The Heads of GUAM (Organization for Democracy and Economic Development) countries' delegations to PACE (Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe) will hold talks in Strasburg at the end of June to coordinate their further activities. "Heads of GUAM countries' delegations will hold talks to coordinate their further activities in PACE. They will represent a unified position on the issues to be discussed at the PACE summer session," Samad Seyidov, Vice-President of PACE, head of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE, said to Trend on 17 June.  

Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM, unites Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova.

PACE summer session will take place in Strasburg from 23 to 27 June to discuss fulfilment of obligations undertaken by Azerbaijan to the Council of Europe, situation in Armenia and other issues.

Seyidov said the key task of GUAM countries' delegations is to keep 'frozen' conflicts in the member countries on its agenda.
