Azerbaijan, Baku, 1 August / Trend / Azerbaijani President decreed on conferring honorary titles to cinema figures.
Honorary title People's Actor of the Republic of Azerbaijan was conferred on Ramiz Azizbayli and Tofig Ismayilov for contributions in development of cinematography in Azerbaijan, Honoured Art Figure of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Abdullahad Mahmudov and Yavar Rzayev, Honoured Actor of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Sugra Bagirzade, Khalida Guliyeva and Eldaniz Rasulov, Honoured Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Fikrat Alakbarov, Honoured Cultural Worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 13 cinema figures.
Azerbaijan marks the Day of National Cinema on 2 August.
