Azerbaijan, Baku, 20 August / Trend corr. R.Novruzov / Romanian President Traian Basescu is to discuss in Baku the problems in the Black Sea region.
Romanian President's visit is scheduled for 21 August, Niscolai Pahona, Deputy Director of the Romanian Foreign Ministry Information Department, told Trend via a telephone from Bucharest.
"President's visit to Azerbaijan will take place within his tour to the Black Sea region," Pahona said.
Basescu plans to pay business visits to Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.
Within the framework of the visit Romanian President will hold talks with his colleagues to consider bilateral relations, as well as the current situation in the Black Sea region, in particular, to attract different organizations of EU, NATO and OSCE to cooperation, ITAR-TASS reported.
