Georgia, Tbilisi, August 26 / corr Trend / Recognition of separatist regions will cause a serious damage to the international authority of Russia, State Minister of Georgia on reintegration issues Temur Yakobashvili stated. He was commenting on the possibility of recognizing the independence of Abkhazia and South Osetia by the Russian president.

"Russia began the recognition process of separatist regions in April, when the direct contact was set with the separatists. Presnetly all are convinced that a problem in Georgia is not only separatism, because it is the confrontation between Georgia and Russia. There is the same conflict in both regions of the country," the state minister noted.
