Iran May Impose Sanctions on World Predominant Forces

Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 September / Trend / The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called the economic sanctions taken against the country, illegal and said that Iran may take sanctions against world predominant force in response. "We do not care of the sanctions by immoral countries and predominant forces. However, If these countries will overstep permissible, Iran will react sufficiently and take similar sanctions," Ahmadinejad said in his interview to the Japanese NHK channel. The information was released by the Iranian Mehrnews agency.

Ahmadinejad said that the issue on the Iranian uranium enrichment program was simply and usual. "The Iranian nation, like other nations want to use atom energy for peace purposes. This is Iranians' right and international laws confirm it," the Iranian President added.

According to the President, the challenges on the uranium enrichment program of Iran are a political game and ungrounded from juridical point of view.

"The country, which used atom bomb against Japan, as well as the countries which have atom bombs opposes the Iranian peace uranium enrichment program," Ahmadinejad said.
