Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend / Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have signed a number of inter-governmental agreements in Baku on 11 September.
The sides singed an agreement on protection of environment, cooperation in the sphere of communications and information technologies, cooperation in the sphere of railway transport, combined conveyance of cargo, exchange of information in the sphere of taxes and protection of information. Agreement on cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, development of trade and economic and scientific and technical spheres was also signed.
The documents have been signed within the official visit by Uzbek President Islam Karimov to Azerbaijan. He met with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and later with other officials.
