Georgian Police Detains Russian Serviceman

Georgia, Tbilisi, 23 September / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia/ Georgian police detained Russian serviceman, dressed in civilian clothes, while attempting to pass the police post nearby the Georgia-Abkhazia administrative border.

A gun was found on Nikolai Gorbunov.

Gorbunov said he had paid to the commander and had been released from the post in Tkaya village in the Tsalenjikh village for three days to visit his family in Gudauti, Abkhazia. He has an Abkhazian wife and an infant son. Gorbunov is from Altai.

The Georgian police passed Gorbunov to Russian troops command.
