Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 October/ Trend , corr A. Huseynbala/ Newly established opposition Aydinlar Party of Azerbaijan says it does not conduct special propaganda to involve activists of other parties.
їWe do not conduct special propaganda to involve activists and members of other political parties to our party,ї Gulamhuseyn Alibayli, member of Aydinlar Partyїs Initiative Group and presidential candidate said to Trend .
Alibayli was adviser to president Elchibay in 1992 to 1993. He was elected MP for two consecutive terms from 1995 to 2005. He has been member of Azerbaijani parliamentїs delegation to PACE. He has been member of Popular Front of Azerbaijan since 1989 and chairman of Supreme Majlis of Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan.
Chairmen of Lankaran, Samur and Gakh branches of Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan resigned and joined election headquarters of Aydinlar Party.
Alibayli said he calls on not individuals, but all Azerbaijani citizens to join the party.
їConcerning willingness of members of PFPA and other political parties to join our party, I think everyone is free in quitting or joining any party. We do not plan to invite members of other parties to join us. But we will welcome those supporting us,ї he said.
Initiative Group is working out regulations of the Initiative Group, he said.
їThese documents will be made public soon. Local organizations will be formed soon after it,ї Alibayli said.
