Azerbaijan, Baku, 7 October / corr. Trend K. Zarbaliyeva / The penitentiary service of the Azerbaijan Justice Ministry reconciled with local Zerkalo newspaper. Today's [7 October] issue of the daily refuted the articles which caused disagreement in the opposite side, Mehman Sadigov, leader of public relations department of the penitentiary service, told Trend on October 7.
Therefore, plaintiff will appeal to the court of Yasamal district of Baku to withdraw a suit.
Earlier, Zercalo daily published articles entitled "Death penalty", "Open tubercular zone", "Gobustan's cemetery". Therefore, the Penitentiary service of the Ministry of Justice appealed to the court, demanding to fine Alena Myasnikova, an author of these articles, in the amount of AZN 50.000 and to provide refutation for the articles published in Zercalo.
