Azerbaijan, Baku, 15 October /corr. Trend A.Huseynbala/ Fazil Gazanfaroglu, chairman of Great Establishment Party, hopes for the second place in the Presidential elections in Azerbaijan, he said to press-conference on 15 October in Baku. He stated that Ilham Aliyev, chairman of ruling New Azerbaijan Party, gained the first place.
Gazanfaroglu appeared in difficulty to forecast the number of Azerbaijani citizens voting for him, since he does not possess information on the results of voting in the constituency election commissions.
Gazanfaroglu expressed dissatisfaction with difference in information by various exit-polls held during the Presidential elections in Azerbaijan.
Seven candidates participated in the 15 October presidential elections, including Ilham Aliyev, chairman of ruling New Azerbaijan Party; Igbal Agazade, chairman of opposition Umid (Hope) Party; Fazil Gazanfaroglu, chairman of Great Establishment Party; Gudrat Hasanguliyev, chairman of Unified Popular Front Party; Hafiz Hajiyev, chairman of Muasir Musavat Party; Fuad Aliyev, chairman of Liberal Democrat Party and independent candidate Gulamhuseyn Alibayli.
