Foreign Government Figures not Invited to Ilham Aliyev’s Inauguration Ceremony
"According to traditions in Azerbaijan, leaders and representative of other countries are not invited to the inauguration ceremony," Novruz Mammadov, high rank official of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration said to Trend .

Central Election Commission submitted final results of presidential election to the Constitutional Court for approval on 18 October.

The presidential election in Azerbaijan was held on 15 October.
Seven candidates were running for presidency at the 15 October presidential election including Ilham Aliyev, chairman of Ruling New Azerbaijan Party, Igbal Agazade, chairman of opposition Umid (Hope) Party, Fazil Gazanfaroglu, chairman of Great Establishment Party, Gudrat Hasanguliyev, chairman of Unified Popular Front Party, Hafiz Hajiyev, chairman of Muasir Musavat Party, Fuad Aliyev, chairman of Liberal Democrat Party and independent candidate Gulamhuseyn Alibayli.
According to final results, Ilham Aliyev, chairman of ruling New Azerbaijan Party and current President won 88.73% of votes.
Igbal Agazade gained 2.86%, Fazil Gazanfaroglu - 2.47%, Gudrat Hasanguliyev - 2.28%, Gulamhuseyn Alibayli - 2.23%, Fuad Aliyev - 0.78% and Hafiz Hajiyev - 0.65%.
According to the Article 103 of the Constitutional Court, the president inaugurates within three days after the Constitutional Court officially announces results of presidential election.

High rank official of the Presidential Administration said Azerbaijan will observe this tradition in this inauguration ceremony as well. Representatives of many countries want to take part in inauguration ceremony. Even leaders of several countries want to attend inauguration ceremony and they have already expressed their willingness.
"Leader or representatives of any country can take part in inauguration only at their own will," Mammadov said.
