Official of Afghan presidential office welcomes new troops
Afghanistan, Kabul, Dec. 12 / Trend , A. Hakimi/ Humayoon Hamid Zadah warmly welcomed the decision of sending new troops to Afghanistan.
Humayoon Hamid Zadah, the spokesperson for the Presidential Office, said to media that sending new American combat brigades to Afghanistan will help restoring peace and stability for this country.
He hoped that with deployment of new troops along Afghan and Pakistani border will prevent penetration of terrorism from other side of Durand Line.
It is noticeable that implementation of foreign troops along the Afghan-Pak border and drawing out the fighting beyond the border are the old desire of Afghan officials.
Gates, while talking to reporters in the Kandahar airport, also mentioned that penetration of terrorists from Pakistan to Afghanistan should be prevented, otherwise violation will not end in Afghanistan.
However, the first group of these troops will be deployed in Lugar and Maidan province, few kilometers from Kabul which are considered to be a gate to Kabul.
But according to Hamid Zadah, implementation of these forces along the border to Pakistan will have a positive result for providing peace to this war-torn country.
