Azerbaijan, Lankaran, Dec. 23 / Trend corr P. Aliyeva / A citizen of Jalilabad region (230 km south from Baku) was detained while attempting to sell drugs delivered from Iran through smuggling into Azerbaijan.
As a result of the operations held jointly with Jalilabad regional police department, Jalal Huseynov, a 27-year-old resident of Lallar village, was detained while selling 1.215kg of heroin ($ 22,500 in sum), to a customer, south regional department of the Drugs Control Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Trend on Dec. 23.
A lawsuit has been filled on the case. The investigation determines the persons involved in the criminal act by Huseynov.
