Ukraine, Kiev. Dec. 24 / Trend . Z.Novosvitskiy /The Supreme Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) considers the project of 2009 Public budget, which was presented by Government.
Under the Public budget of Ukraine, people's deputies now are occupied in developing of the budget. According to Speaker Vladimir Litvin, deputies, parliamentary committees and fractions must represent their proposals on the project of the public budget until Dec. 24 to 12:00pm.
The project of 2009 Public budget is expected to be submitted to the parliament for consideration at the first reading.
Initially parliament must consider and adopt 17 bills regarding filling of the profitable part of the budget, Litvin said.
The law on 2009 Public budget of Ukraine was registered in the Supreme Rada on Dec. 23. The document proposes to fix the incomes of the 2009 Public budget at 237,547bln hryvnia and expenditures -265,627 bln hryvnia.
Government proposes to define the limit size of deficit of the Public budget in the sum of 31bln hryvnia.
The incomes of free budget are planned at 306bln hryvnia including the incomes of the common fund- 234.1bln, special fund - 71.9bln hryvnia.
Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko criticized proposals made by the Government regarding the 2009 Public budget. "This is a tragedy and the most irresponsible document," Yushchenko said.
The opposition parliamentary fraction of the Party of Regions considers non-professional the project of the 2009 Public budget, which was proposed by Government. .
