Iranian President addressed Muslims around the world and peace-loving nations

Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 5/ Trend , T. Jafarov/ President of the Islamic Republic of Iran addressed Palestinian people, Muslims around the world and all peace-loving nations of the world on Israel's attack on Gaza.

"Gaza and Palestine are facing real Holocaust at the moment," Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan quoted Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as saying Jan. 5.

Ahmadinejad urged Islam scholars, freedom supporters and youth to render their support to the Gaza population, to deliver their humanitarian aid through Egypt and to do their best to help these people.

Iranian President called on the League of Arab States, Arab and Islam states and Egypt to support Gaza population and to sever ties with Israel.

President said Rafah checkpoint and sea routes should be opened as soon as possible to deliver aid and necessary conditions should be created for other states for this purpose.

Israeli Air Forces struck the Gaza Strip at day time Dec. 27. After six-month truce between Hamas and Israel expired Dec. 19, Hamas fired rockets at Sderot and Ashkelon towns of Israel as a response to murder of four Palestinians. The Israeli offensive has killed 515 and injured 3,000 people so far.
