Georgian parliament gets support letter from US Congress

"The legalized new charter between Georgia and the United States is too important, because the document favors strengthening relations in military, economic, diplomatic and culture fields," the letter from the United States sent to Georgia said. Vice-Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Gigi Tsereteli received the letter.

Members of the U.S Congress, including heads of the U.S-Georgia friendship group Alison Schwarz and Bill Shuster positively assessed importance of the charter in their letter sent to Tzereteli.  They also spread an official address to counterparts and urged them to contribute in strengthening relations with Georgia in military, economic, diplomatic and cultural fields.
