Georgia, Tbilisi, Feb.4 / Trend corr N. Kirtzkhalia /
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's statement about Georgia should be noted, Georgian Parliamentary Speaker David Bakradze said.
Clinton said Georgia is a priority issue alongside Afghanistan and uranium proliferation that the U.S. and EU should approach together in a meeting with German Foreign Minister Walter Stainmayer.
"Clinton's statement on Georgia shows Washington's support for Tbilisi," Bakradze said.
The speaker said the U.S. is ready to continue its support for Georgia.
"We don't expect changes in our relations with the U.S. We expect fruitful results from U.S. policy to support Georgia," Bakradze said.
