Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Greek President Karolos Papoulias met with the participation of delegations in Athens on Feb. 16.
The Presidents emphasized that development of relations in all fields is key to the regional cooperation. Heads of State expressed their confidence of further expansion of the bilateral relations, President's official website reported.
President Ilham Aliyev said he is satisfied with the level of bilateral relations adding that the documents to be signed during the visit will provide a good legal framework for enhanced political, economic and energy relations.
Head of the State recalled Azerbaijan's active involvement in European energy security and noted significance of energy cooperation with Greece.
