Iran launches to produce new unmanned planes with 1,000 kilometer range ability, Iranian Deputy Defence Minister Ahmad Vahidi said. The Islamic Republic produced military planes of Azerakhsh and Saiga types. The Islamic Republic will launch to produce military panes of new kind in the nearest future, Fars Iranian News Agency said.
"Military planes of Azerakhsh and Saiga types were produced last years. We continue our successful activity and use all possible means for development. Presently, we prepare to produce military planes of new type," Vahidi said at the International Cosmic Conference held in Isfahan.
He did not give detailed information about unmanned plane with 1,000 kilometer range ability.
