Iranian foreign debt totals over 21 billion dollars

According to the Eсonomist journal, Iran's foreign debt of 2008 in the amount of $21 billion reached $21 billion 600 million in January 2009. Growth totals 7.1 percent of GDP.

According to the journal, reduction of Iran's foreign debt will be observed in the next years. So, Iran's foreign debt will reduce 19 billion 300 million in late 2009 but $18 billion 800 million in 2010. It will total 5.5 and 4.6 percent of GDP accordingly.

According to the journal, Iran's foreign debt will reduce $18 billion 200 million over 2011-2012 but the last figure will not change in 2013. GDP volume will reduce compared to 3.7 percent in 2004.
