Vladimir Dorokhin was appointed Russia's new ambassador to Azerbaijan, the Foreign Ministry of Russia said on Feb. 26.
Over the recent period, Dorokhin acted as ambassador on special targets of Russian Foreign Ministry, and in 1999-2003 headed Ministry's department on cultural relations and work with UNESCO, RIA Novosti reported.
He knows Hungarian, English and German.
