Georgian parliamentary vice speaker reports on refugees to EPF

Georgian Parliamentary Vice Speaker Gigi Tsereteli particpated in the European Parliamentary Forum (EPF) Executive Committee meeting during his visit to Brussels.

The EPF focuses on population and development issues at European parliaments.

The organization unites 27 European parliamentary groups.

The EPF Executive Committee comprises representatives of 10 countries (Belgium, UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Lithuania, Sweden, Finland and Georgia).

Tsereteli discussed the state of refugees after the August events.

"The issue is of special importance for EPF members, as their special mission visited Georgia to study and appraise the state of refugees. The EPF called on donor conference participants and EPF countries to assist and support Georgia," Tsereteli said.
