The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan received the ambassador of the Russian Federation to Azerbaijan in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission.
"Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and ambassador Vasilie Istratov noted that the relations between the two countries successfully develop, highlighted the importance of the future expansion of these relations in all spheres," the press service of the Foreign Ministry told Trend on March 16.
Istratov expressed satisfaction that he worked as an ambassador to Azerbaijan, and confidence that the Azerbaijani-Russian relations will develop in the line of ascent. "Mammadyarov said that in the period of his activity in Azerbaijan, Istratov made a contribution to the development of the relations between the two countries, and wished him successes in his future activities," the same source said.
The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan also received the ambassador of China to Azerbaijan, Zang Khaidzhou, in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country. "Minister and ambassador expressed satisfactions with the Azerbaijani-Chinese relations, which successfully develop in many spheres, mentioned the significance of the continuation of the development of bilateral co-operation, and interaction within the international organizations," the same source said.
