Georgia, Tbilisi, May 4/ Trend , N. Kirtskhalia/

Georgia's radical opposition is ready to meet with President Mikheil Saakashvili and offers authorities to fix venue and date of the meeting, opposition leader Levan Gachechiladze said on Public TV.

He said "the issue the opposition will debate at the meeting has not changed - president's resignation." Gachechiladze said he "respects" position of Alliance for Georgia leader Irakli Alasaniya who declared that he is ready to meet with Saakashvili despite opposition's refusal to do so.

Gachechiladze said Saakashvili agrees to launch dialogue with opposition "only to extend his office."

Saakashvili has offered opposition to sit at table of talks on numerous occasions.

Opposition plans not only to intensify efforts, but also block all entrances to Tbilisi. The demonstrations in front of the Public Broadcaster were resumed on May 4.
