Chairman of the Iranian Counter-Narcotics Department together with the delegation visited Afghanistan upon the invitation of the Counter-Narcotics Minister General Haddadin, the official website of the Iranian İRİB television reported.
During a three-day visit, the Iranian delegation will attend the second meeting of the trilateral negotiations on narcotics combating amongst the United Nations, Afghanistan and Iran. In addition, the Iranian delegation will meet with the Afghan Minister of Health and the prosecutor.
The first meeting of the trilateral negotiations on the narcotics combating amongst the United Nations, Afghanistan and Iran was held in Kabul on Nov.21 in 2008.
