Georgia hopes that the support of the U.S. will grow into a concrete action. That was said by Georgian Ambassador to the United States Batu Kutelia after a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov, during which the position of United States in support of Georgia was fixed.
Clinton said that the U.S. and Russia still fail to agree on Georgia.
"The issue related Georgia was included into the U.S. agenda on foreign policy. Russia and U.S. still fail to agree on this issue," Kutelia said.
"It will be better if a concrete mechanism of pressure to be used against Russia, so that it to fulfill assumed liabilities on ceasefire," Kutelia added.
