With legalization of papers on the Southern Corridor, Georgia really has become a strategic point of gas transit to Europe, the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili said, signing several documents on Southern Corridor and Nabucco project during summit in Prague.
"These documents mean that Georgia would never experience problems with gas, our energy security and the importance of the country will increase," said the President of Georgia.
He also touched upon another paper, signed in Prague, which is EU Eastern Partnership.
"This means that no nation in Europe or the world will recognize the violation of internationally recognized borders, and this approach will never change," said Saakashvili.
According to him, the EU issued a program with Georgia in its currently recognized borders.
