On May 12, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Chairman of the Supreme Court of Turkey Hasan Gercheker, AzerTaj state news agency reported.
Hassan Gercheker noted that the friendly and fraternal Azerbaijani-Turkish relations are developing successfully in all spheres, including in the judiciary. He expressed satisfaction with their participation in the opening of the new building of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan.
At the meeting Ilham Aliyev described the opening of the new building of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan as a significant event, and noted that the democratic and legal reforms in the country are successfully implemented.
