Widely used languages to be taught in Iran

Iranian President held meeting with the leadership of the Supreme Scientific and Cultural Council of Iran, which was approved by the decision to hold classes in local language and literature, MEHR reported.
"In order to create the country's national unity and develop a culture of Iran, Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Ministry of Health allowed to teach subjects in languages widely used in Iran," head of the Higher Council of Scientific and Cultural of Iran Muhammedreza Muhbir said.
According to him, Azerbaijani, Kurdish, Turkmen and Beluch languages will be taught at universities located in regions where the population belonging to these ethnic groups. Lessons will be free.
