Activist of radical opposition's youth movement beaten in Tbilisi

An activist of the 9 April youth movement of radical opposition Melor Vachnadze was beaten this night. His third cartilage in spine is broken, opposition leader Salome Zurabishvili told reporters.

Doctors say there are no injuries on Vachnadze's face and body. The fracture was revealed only after examination.

Oppositionists say Vachnadze was attacked by seven men. The injured said he knows some of the attackers. He has given testimonial evidence.

Vachnadze will be discharged from hospital in a couple of days.
