Georgia, Tbilisi, June 3 / Trend , N.Kirtskhalia / Ex-Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli calls upon the government to immediately re-consider the country's budget.

The leader of the Movement for Fair Georgia said at today's press conference that the economy is crumbling faster than the government imagines. As the main reason, he described the Georgian-Russian war and the wrong actions of the government in post-period.

According to Nogaideli, in January-May budget deficit on tax revenues reaches one billion lari.
"I call on the government to as soon as possible reconsider the budget to prevent problems with the social expenses during autumn. In this situation the country faces exactly this problem. About what we talked before - saving the country's economy - is already impossible," he said.

Nogaideli believes that in order to prevent civil confrontation in autumn, it needs to take the following steps: make amendments to the Constitution, appoint the elections in the autumn and revise the budget.

"A very hard autumn expects us both politically and economically," he said.
