Men attempting to create gang detained in Georgia

Men attempting to create a gang have been detained in Georgia. Five men have been arrested. They are Joseph Tadiashvili, Paata Svanidze, Zaza Suladze, Lasha Didebashvili and Ivane Kvelashvili.

Investigation revealed that they were planning to create a gang in an effort to resist authorities. The Interior Ministry also circulated video footage of talks among the conspirators which showed them discussing plans to create a gang and to commit coup d'eta.

Each of them assured that they have dozens of supporters who fight the government with arms.

The forces behind the gang and whether they are of political nature remains unclear yet.

Three Kalashnikov guns, 3 grenade cup discharges and 1 grenade have been seized from their homes.

If charged are confirmed, they will be sentenced to 16 years in jail.
