Iran is prepared for more fruitful interaction with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said, while attending the organization's enlarged meeting as an observer. RIA Novosti reported.
Iran has an observer status in the SCO.
"Iran is ready to expand and deepen cooperation with the SCO more than earlier," Ahmedinejad said.
The Iranian president thanked his Russian counterpart Dmitriy Medvedev for good organization of the SCO summit.
