Roughly 17 bushes of cop-rose were liquidated in the south of Azerbaijan on the border with Iran.
Big amount of drug was revealed as a result of actions conducted by employees of police department of Yardimli region together with employees of south regional department of head department for combat with drug, Trend reported.
Roughly 17 tons 600 kilogram bushes of cop-rose were revealed and liqudated in 200-hectare-area in Alvan situated in the territory of Arvan vilage bordering with Iran, head of police department of yardimli region Shamil Seyidli said.
It is the second operation named Mak-2009 conducted in Yardimli. Roughly 9 tons of cop-rose was liquidated as a result of the first operation.
