Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev issued an order on introduction of the Law on amendments to the Law on Police, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
Fifth item was added to the article 10 of the Law on Police. It refers to establishment of a public council at police agencies to coordinate the activities of persons voluntarily participating in the joint solution of public problems that arise in connection with public order and security.
The Cabinet of Ministers is in charge of preparing and submitting proposals on bringing existing laws into conformity with the law on amendments to the Law on Police within a month.
