Georgia is concerned with the Caucasus-2009 military exercises by Russia, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Nalbandov said.

He said unprecedented number of defense technology and 8,500 military men are involved with the exercises.

"The fact that Russia says they will use experience of an August war against Georgia is a source of anxiety," Nalbandov said.

He said the training will last till July 6. They are held both in Russia and occupied lands.

"We are closely watching the situation. We and international community consider the training to be next provocation by Russia. Our task is not to respond to this provocation," Nalbandov said and added that Georgia can not rule of repeat of last year's aggression.
