Russia and Azerbaijan cooperate on different directions, including the criminal investigation, as well as fight against economic crime and immigration issues, Head of the State Property Protection Department of the Russian Interior Ministry, Lieutenant-General of Police Vadim Savichev said in Baku on July 8.
"Interaction is carried out on scientific and technical cooperation, exchange of experience on providing safety of different types of properties, including, the most important ones," he said, speaking at an international scientific-practical conference "Issues of improvement of security services under modern conditions."
Savichev said Russia shares technological innovations and experience in their application.
This year's conference focuses on development of an agreement to protect the goods transported to the CIS countries, he said.
