Head of Azerbaijani oppositional public organization sees no necessity in establishment of new union of political forces.  

"At present, major task is not to unite leading political parties but strengthen activity of society," head of For the sake of Azerbaijan public forum, Eldar Namazov, told trend News on July 30.

Before head of Musavat party Isa Gambar addressed with proposal to restore Azerbaijani People's Fund and unite all opposition forces in this organization. Chairman of Classic People's Front party, Mirmahmud Miralioglu, addressed with initiative to establish National Resistance Movement last week.

Namazov said that opposition must do its best to increase role of youth in public-political sphere. "We must attract broader social layers to stir up society. I think that political parties should have deal with above-mentioned instead of establishment of new organizations. I do my best on this regards," head of the forum said.  

He said that opposition fails to unite in the united organization for a long time. "Reasons are known. Political forces must agree with each other. All understand it. But if there is any progress, those hampering appear. Unification of opposition in united organization is unreal," Namazov said.   

Namazov is assistant of the President and head of presidential secretariat over 1993-1999. After resignation, he established For the sake of Azerbaijan public forum in 1999. He was co-founder of New policy pre-election block established to participate in parliamentary elections in 2005.
