Georgian foreign ministry discusses Russia's actions in occupied territories with diplomats

The Georgian Foreign Ministry familiarized diplomats and representatives of international organizations accredited in Georgia with the view of Tbilisi regarding Russia's illegal actions in the occupied territories.

The meeting was of technical character and focused on questions and responses, head of the EU observer mission in Georgia, Hansjorg Haber, told to journalists after the meeting.

According to Haber, the Georgian side has briefed diplomats on its views in connection with the illegal actions of Russia. The meeting also discussed the transfer of Abkhaz railway to Russia. Answering the question whether the meeting discussed leader of the Ossetian separatists Eduard Kokoyti's leave for a long duration, Haber replied that the issue was not discussed.

British ambassador Denis Keefe described the meeting very interesting and important. According to Keefe, they got familiarized with the opinion of the Georgian side in connection with Russia's actions.
