Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan to renew legal agreements (UPDATE)

The Azerbaijani and Kazakh governments are working on a package of bilateral cooperation agreements to be signed during the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's official visit to Baku. Nazarbayev's visit is scheduled for September 30 - October 1, Kazakh Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Serik Primbetov, told media on August 28.   

Besides the official visit, the Kazakh President also plans to participate in the summit of Turkic countries, scheduled for October 2-3 in Nakhchivan, said a press-release from the Kazakh Embassy in Azerbaijan, received by Trend .

The documents will cover vehicle transportation, agriculture, solutions for the consequences of disasters and accidents and shipping, as well as other issues, Primbetov said.

At present, the program and agenda for the visit are being worked on.

The next meeting of the inter-governmental commission on economic cooperation is planned to be held before the president's visit.
