Police receives false information about bomb planted in subway station in Baku

An unidentified person called “102” service of the Interior Ministry from the Khatai district of Baku and said an explosive had been planted in one of the carriages in the Hazi Aslanov subway station, the ministry told Trend News on Sep1.

Police has received false information about planting a bomb in the subway station in Baku.

An unidentified person called "102" service of the Interior Ministry from the Khatai district of Baku and said an explosive had been planted in one of the carriages in the Hazi Aslanov subway station, the ministry told Trend on Sep1.

The relevant agencies have launched immediate operational actions at the site. The information was wrong.

The operational actions revealed that the person providing false information about a bomb planted in the subway station was a resident of Baku, Fakhri Mammadov (13).

On Aug. 31, a man made an anonymous call to police and said an explosive had been planted in one of the building near the Sahil metro station. The information was wrong.
