The leader of the "Democratic Movement - United Georgia", Nino Burjanadze, accused the authorities of trying to weaken the opposition. She has said today after the meeting with diplomats accredited in Georgia that the country's leadership uses every step of the opposition for their own PR and trying to weaken it this.

"Physical and legal terrorism against opposition activists continue," said Burjanadze.

She expressed concern about the fact that the terrorism takes a new look - the financial pressure. According to Burjanadze, the interest in the event has been expressed also by diplomats, who asked why the meeting with Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili did not continue, as previously agreed.
