A bill on peacekeeping forces will be discussed at the autumn session of the Azerbaijani Parliament, First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, MP Ziyafat Asgarov, briefed the media on Sept. 4.
"I believe this bill is perspective and hope that it will solve the problem of peacekeepers. The bill will reflect the solution of peacekeepers' logistical problems," Asgarov said.
Today, Azerbaijan's peacekeeping forces are serving in Afghanistan.
A military doctrine is expected to be adopted. "According to the information, the document is under improvement," the MP said.
The bill was expected to be submitted to the parliament for discussions at the last session.
