Georgia should not allow its political status to decrease on any accounts, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze told journalists.
According to Vashadze, a number of topical issues were discussed at today's [Sept.8.] meeting with Georgian diplomats.
"This included security and stability issues. The meeting also discussed issues on attracting investment," the minister added.
"The restoration of territorial integrity by peaceful means is also important. We also talked about how Georgia is represented in foreign media as a successful and democratic country, conducting liberal reforms," Vashadze added.
The minister said that following the military action in August, this was the first meeting with Georgian diplomats accredited in foreign countries, who have been given the task of letting the international community know the full extent of Russia's aggression.
